Senior Property Claim Specialist – Homeowners, Dwelling Fire
Kingstone Insurance Company
• Responsible for desk adjusting of first-party property claims • Analyze coverage, investigate causes of loss, scope damages, review estimates • Assist in management and training of team members • Implement virtual claim technology • Communicate professionally while answering questions and gathering claims information • Review estimates and make necessary changes and adjustments • Maintain claim files with professional notes and summaries • Ensure claim disposition meets good faith handling guidelines • Assist in the training and mentoring of team members
Job Requirements
- A college degree (preferred)
- Large loss experience (preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience managing and handling Homeowners and Dwelling Fire claims
- Continued insurance education and/or designations
- Xactimate knowledge
- Construction knowledge
- Ability to scope property losses
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance contracts
- Ability to identify subrogation and salvage opportunities
- Strong negotiation and settlement skills
- Experience in a heavy Public Adjuster environment
