Role Description Innovation Baseball Partners (“IBP”) is looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Finance & Business Intelligence Manager to help scale the business across multiple clubs and future expansion opportunities. This role combines AI enabled analytics and reporting, FP&A and strategic finance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a board-ready forecast, researching a budget variance down to the transaction level, and rapidly building reporting solutions using modern AI-enabled and lightweight coding tools. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the underlying data, understands how systems connect, and is willing to dig into details to identify issues, trends, and opportunities. Responsibilities - Analytics & Reporting: - Understand how to build dashboards and reports using AI development platforms. - Build and maintain KPI dashboards across ticketing, food & beverage, merchandise, sponsorship, labor, and marketing. - Reduce manual reporting by designing using agent-first AI development platforms such as anti-gravity. - Analyze and reconcile data across multiple operational systems including ticketing, POS, ecommerce, accounting, CRM, and marketing platforms. - Own the integrity and reliability of operational and financial reporting; investigate reporting inconsistencies and identify root-cause data issues. - Translate raw operational data into actionable business insights for club leadership and ownership. - Systems and Process Implementation: - Combine strong business acumen with modern systems and automation expertise. - Develop automated reporting workflows using AI-enabled tools, APIs, BI tools, spreadsheets, and vibe-coding platforms such as anti-gravity. - Lead implementation projects for operational and reporting systems including platforms such as Vivenu, Shopify, Square, CRM tools, and other business systems. - Coordinate cross-functional projects involving finance, ticketing, operations, marketing, and technology vendors. - Help establish scalable reporting standards and system processes across multiple clubs. - Continuously improve reporting speed, quality, automation, and usability across the organization. - Financial Planning & Forecasting: - Partner with club leadership to prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts. - Build monthly budget variance reporting with supporting operational analysis and transaction-level research where necessary. - Support analysis of expansion opportunities, stadium projects, and new market analysis. - Perform pricing, attendance, and revenue sensitivity and other analysis as needed. Qualifications - 4–8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, analytics, investment banking, or related fields. - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. - Experience building dashboards and operational reporting. - Experience using AI-enabled workflow tools, APIs, BI tools, or no-code / vibe-coding platforms such as Anti-Gravity. - Comfortable working directly with large datasets and reconciling underlying data. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Highly organized, intellectually curious, and willing to operate hands-on in a fast-moving environment. Bonus Points - Sports, entertainment, hospitality, consumer, or multi-location operating experience. - Startup or growth-stage company experience. - Experience with ticketing, POS, ecommerce, or marketing analytics platform. - Experience with basic SQL, Python. Compensation - Base Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geography.
