Job Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card (Permanent Resident) holder ONLY.
- 8+ years of database engineering, database migration, or database architecture experience.
- Expert-level experience with: Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and SSIS/SSRS
- PostgreSQL / Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL development and performance tuning
- SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration projects
- Strong hands-on experience with: AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)
- AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Schema conversion and code-object remediation
- Full-load and CDC migration strategies
- Database performance tuning, indexing, and optimization
- Large-scale database modernization initiatives
- Experience leading database migration teams and reviewing technical deliverables.
- Preferred: AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
- Production experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration programs.
