Role Description We are looking for a Coupa Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Coupa BSM (Business Spend Management) and the broader enterprise application landscape. The role focuses on Coupa Integration Cloud, API-based integrations, supplier onboarding flows, and data synchronization between Coupa and ERP, finance, HR, and payment systems. The ideal candidate has shipped meaningful Coupa integrations in production, understands the source-to-pay process end-to-end, and applies disciplined integration engineering practices. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop integrations between Coupa and enterprise systems including ERP, finance, payroll, and supplier networks. - Build integrations using Coupa Integration Cloud, Coupa Open APIs, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato. - Implement supplier onboarding integrations including supplier master, contracts, and catalog data flows. - Develop integrations supporting requisition, purchase order, invoice, and payment processes. - Implement chart-of-accounts, expense category, and lookup data synchronization between Coupa and source systems. - Build user, role, and approval-hierarchy synchronization between Coupa and identity systems. - Design error handling, retry, and reconciliation strategies for integration flows. - Implement integration security across Coupa endpoints, including OAuth flows, SSO patterns, and certificate-based authentication, ensuring that integration credentials follow least-privilege and lifecycle best practices. - Profile and optimize integration performance and batch sizing for high-volume scenarios, applying systematic measurement, targeted improvements, and data-driven validation to deliver quantifiable gains in throughput, latency, or resource efficiency. - Participate in Coupa release planning, regression testing, and platform upgrades. - Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders on integration requirements. - Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time. - Support production incidents related to Coupa integrations and drive durable fixes. - Stay current with Coupa releases and BSM platform evolution, regularly review release notes and community discussions, and translate noteworthy advances into concrete recommendations and adoption proposals for the team. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Five or more years of integration engineering experience. - Hands-on experience integrating Coupa with enterprise systems. - Strong understanding of Coupa Integration Cloud and Coupa Open APIs. - Experience with at least one major iPaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato. - Strong understanding of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay processes. - Solid SQL and data transformation skills. - Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration security. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Bloom Credit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Product Engineering team, who can design, develop, test and deploy golang and python microservices that power our innovative B2B consumer-focused and developer-friendly financial service platform. Software engineers work in cross-functional features with 4-6 other engineers, and collaborate with other feature development teams as well as our Product and Platform teams. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced software engineer who has good experience with distributed systems, and is passionate about APIs, developer experience, and SaaS platforms. Prior experience working in FinTech or other regulated industry is a major plus. Initially this individual will take on many of the client and prospect onboarding responsibilities, acting as a solutions engineer and product evangelist. In this capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will have broad latitude to create or update documentation, develop automations and scripts for our control plane, and propose / develop product enhancements that reduce friction for our client’s developers. After this initial period, the role will transition into a standard product development engineering role or product team lead role depending on the individual’s prior experience and interests.
