ACT/SAT English/Reading Tutor
Tutored by Teachers
• Perform VIRTUAL-only Reading/English tutoring for K-12 students across the United States with flexible hours and higher pay than most tutoring companies. • Use knowledge to close the opportunity gap and advance equity in education by supporting high needs students.
Job Requirements
- At least one year of Math and/or ELA lead teaching experience in a U.S., K-12, public, private, and/or charter school.
- Ability to instruct ACT/SAT English/Reading
- Daytime availability (e.g., 8am-10am, 12pm-3pm Eastern)
- Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom
- Bonus points for: Experience with remediation, intervention or small group instruction, Experience with secondary math, SPED or ELL teaching experience, Bi-Lingual, AP course experience (any APs) helpful!, Dedication to advancing equity in schools, Active teaching credential
Benefits
- Staffing and Engagements
- Compensation rate generally $32.00 per hour of tutoring plus a 10% bonus
- Rate may be modified for engagements where teachers are provided more or less lessons

• Prioritize and manage program deliverables by implementing guideline development processes • Review and edit documents for completeness, adherence to methods and program scope • Perform systematic literature searches and educate committee members on methodology • Document and report unintended variation or inconsistent quality for potential process improvements.
• Facilitating negotiations of site agreements and budgets to ensure alignment with the site activation plan • Customizing and preparing country- and site-specific agreements and organizing their translations • Tracking the status of site agreement and budget negotiation • Preparing executable versions of site agreements and budgets, and coordinating the signature process • Filing executed site agreements in the Trial Master File • Updating all concerned functions on the site contracting process
