Vice President, Surgeon Relations

• Consultant dashboard creation and maintenance. • Initiate and manage consultant contracts, including renewals and updates • Prospectively assign/propose work tasks that are in alignment with Business Unit’s Needs Assessments and strategic direction • Yearly reporting on key performance indicators and key initiatives to the SAB • Effectively align US and OUS consultant work product to more effectively utilize consultant expertise while more effectively utilize consultant time. • Ensure that we are fully leveraging the expertise of our consultants on a global scale. • Produce and oversee opportunities to disseminate consultant work product to multiple communication and educational avenues • Audiences to include: surgeons, field sales organization, healthcare systems, corporate marketing and clinical affairs. • Be an ambassador for Advita – both with current customers and newly identified customers. • Cultivate newly identified relationships with health care providers • Intense focus on customer retention and conversion • Spearhead communication efforts to address customer issues in an urgent manner ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction • Oversee a regular cadence of customer communication for multiple tiers/segments of customers • Perform analytic assessments of the rate of return associated with our most significant medical education events. • Manage consultant contract renewals. • Collaboratively work with E&D and S&M team members to resolve customer relationship challenges • Knowing and applying Advita’s Quality Management System and any appropriate federal and international standards. • Assisting and supporting other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in orthopedic medical device sales and/or marketing
- 10+ years’ experience in direct customer contact (health care providers)
- Knowledge of global orthopedic market
- Ability to interact with surgeons and sales personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel 75% of time
