Role Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to strengthen data quality across our Platform Business Unit. In this role, you will work closely with analysts, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability, consistency, and transparency of data. The position combines analytical investigation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, helping teams make confident decisions based on trusted data. - Own and improve data quality within the Platform Business Unit by identifying, analyzing, and helping resolve data-related issues. - Partner closely with analytics teams as primary stakeholders, gathering requirements, investigating incidents, and identifying root causes of data discrepancies. - Develop and maintain data quality processes, including automated checks, monitoring systems, alerts, and regular validation of key datasets and business metrics. - Analyze data sources, pipelines, and data marts to identify weaknesses in calculations, transformations, and data loading processes. - Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including table descriptions, metric definitions, calculation logic, data sources, and ownership information. - Support analytics teams by improving data accessibility and understanding, explaining data structures, limitations, and calculation methodologies. - Contribute to the development of a strong data quality culture by establishing standards, governance practices, and transparent incident management processes. - Collaborate with data engineers, backend developers, product teams, and business analysts to improve data reliability and consistency across the organization. Qualifications - At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, or in a similar analytical role. - Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently investigate complex queries, data marts, and relationships between datasets. - Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and the end-to-end data lifecycle. - Experience working with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Superset, Looker, or similar tools. - Ability to investigate data discrepancies and trace issues from business metrics to specific sources, transformations, or pipelines. - A structured mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for improving data quality, documentation, and operational processes. - Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with analysts, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. - Experience with Python will be considered an advantage. - Experience with Airflow, GitLab, dbt, or similar tools will be a plus. - Previous experience in technology companies or product-focused environments will be beneficial.
