Regulatory Affairs Manager – Part-time

MANIKO Nails GmbH

• As our new Regulatory Affairs Manager (all genders), you will be the central point of contact for all regulatory and product compliance matters. • You ensure that our products, packaging and communications comply with applicable legal requirements and support internal teams in implementing regulatory requirements efficiently and pragmatically. • You will work closely with product development, sourcing, marketing and external partners to ensure regulatory requirements are considered early on. • Responsibility for all regulatory processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant cosmetics law, product safety, trade and environmental requirements. • Ensure legally compliant product labeling and regulatory-compliant communication across packaging, marketing materials, retail channels and digital touchpoints. • Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory, product safety and compliance-related issues and provide sound, actionable recommendations. • Manage and coordinate external partners such as regulatory consultancies, testing laboratories and legal advisors. • Monitor regulatory developments and translate new requirements into concrete actions for product, retail and marketing teams, supporting cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle – from product development to market launch.

Job Requirements

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, ideally in the cosmetics, beauty, FMCG or consumer goods industry.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and other relevant regulatory requirements in the European market.
  • You have experience reviewing and approving product labels, claims, packaging and marketing communications.
  • You are familiar with environmental, packaging and waste regulatory requirements and ideally have experience with the compliance requirements of major retailers such as dm, Rossmann or comparable retail partners.
  • You have experience working with suppliers, testing laboratories and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance across the supply chain.
  • You work in a structured way, manage multiple topics in parallel and maintain an overview even in complex regulatory matters.
  • You collaborate successfully with different departments, communicate regulatory requirements clearly and develop pragmatic solutions for complex challenges.
  • You work independently, think ahead, make well-founded decisions and demonstrate high diligence and attention to detail.
  • You are a native-level German speaker and fluent in English (business fluent).
