Job Description

Project Accountant

MVL

• Oversee all project accounting functions for U.S.-based projects • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking • Collaborate with project managers and Project Controls to update and monitor financial performance and forecasts • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to leadership • Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and forecast future financial needs to ensure costs are managed and aligned with the budget • Cost Control: Monitor project costs, process invoices, and ensure timely payments and proper expense recording to prevent overspending • Cash Flow Management: Ensure sufficient cash flow for project obligations by monitoring incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring they align with the project's financial plan

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project accounting
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) – perfect communication skills required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
