Real Estate Design Manager – Clinical Sites
McKesson
• Oversees project activities from conception through closeout • Collaborates with the Business Partner, Director of Project Delivery, and Project Managers • Engages with Delivery Team and Business Unit leadership to develop project scope and goals • Requests and analyzes client data to inform design solutions • Prepares site/massing diagrams for conceptualization • Meets with the Authority Having Jurisdiction alongside the external vendor • Facilitates design iterations per task orders • Ensures client understanding of contract documents and scoping • Leverages Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and mock-ups • Reviews architectural and engineering documents at each stage • Reports schedule and budget targets; escalates risks • Executes change management for special requests • Encourages design innovation and documents best practices • Performs pre- and post-occupancy evaluations
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of design management experience
- Registered Architect or Licensed Interior Designer
- 3+ years of healthcare design experience, especially oncology clinics
- AutoCAD & Bluebeam proficiency; Revit a plus
- Self-directed & motivated
- Professional registration preferred
- Experience with WELL or LEED projects preferred
