Role Description The Modern Data Company is seeking an experienced Pre Sales Architect to join our dynamic team in the accounting industry. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our innovative data solutions and client needs, ensuring that our products and services are aligned with the business objectives of our diverse clientele. As a Pre Sales Architect, you will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our offerings and address complex challenges in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting processes, data architecture, and technology trends, coupled with exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will lead technical presentations, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the overall sales strategy by providing insights into market demands and solution capabilities. Responsibilities - Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and design customized data solutions tailored to accounting industry needs. - Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and stakeholders. - Develop detailed architectural blueprints and documentation to support sales proposals and bids. - Respond to RFPs and RFIs with comprehensive technical content that highlights solution benefits and differentiation. - Provide technical guidance and expertise during the pre-sales process to ensure alignment with client business objectives. - Liaise between product development and sales teams to communicate client feedback and market trends. - Assist in the development of sales strategies by analyzing industry challenges and positioning solutions effectively. - Stay current with emerging technologies and accounting standards to maintain competitive solution offerings. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years experience in a pre-sales or technical architect role within the accounting software or data management sector. - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. - Proven ability to design and articulate complex technical solutions to diverse audiences. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience with data architecture, cloud-based platforms, and enterprise software solutions. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to solution design.
