Role Description BJC is hiring for a Portfolio Manager - Technology. This is a remote position. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the Shared Services and Workforce portfolio, including: - Facilities & Asset Lifecycle Management - Capital Planning - Design and Construction - Nutrition Services and Meal Operations - Public Safety / Physical Security Operations - Emergency Preparedness and Incident Command - Technology Strategy & Delivery In this role, you will serve as the primary IT partner to business stakeholders across these functions, helping to shape and deliver multi-year capability roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and drive measurable business outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree and/or Equivalent Experience - 10+ years of experience - Master's Degree (preferred) - Project Management Professional certification (preferred) Requirements - Leads the definition, implementation, and review of the organization’s technology portfolio management framework. - Authorizes the structure of portfolios and is responsible for alignment with business strategy & objectives. - Sets parameters for the prioritization of resources and recommends corrective actions. - Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the portfolio. - Identifies issues with portfolio structure, cost, risk, inter-dependencies, and strategic benefits. - Ensures adherence to the agreed portfolio management approach and timetable. - Produces reports for portfolio governance and communicates the change program vision. - Defines the approach, policy & sets standards for managing technology portfolios, programs, and projects. - Uses recommended technology portfolio, program & project control solutions for planning and tracking. - Sets strategy for the management of the portfolio of technology services. - Promotes the opportunities technology offers the organization. - Authorizes the establishment of new or modified technology service delivery capabilities. - Maintains an overview of the contribution of technology services to organizational success.
