• Responsible for designing and producing plans for a wide range of land development projects including commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more • Main contact for a group of clients ensuring high standards are met • Tactical work including grading, drainage and pond design, water and sewer design, and road design • Research on local requirements, laws, and ordinances that affect the design • Coordinate with Technical Staff and Reviewers • Adhere to drafting and design standards

• Support system and mechanical engineering design activities for complex industrial and nuclear projects • Prepare and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, specifications, calculations (e.g., pipe stress, hydraulic, safety valve sizing, ventilation sizing), and equipment arrangements • Develop piping and utility system designs supporting facility infrastructure, process support systems, and operations • Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, and I&C engineering teams • Perform piping and mechanical system field walkdowns and support design verification activities • Assist with piping system evaluations, equipment selection, and design modifications • Support project planning, procurement, construction, startup, testing, and commissioning activities as needed • Participate in design reviews and resolution of technical issues • Interface with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams as needed • Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, safety requirements, and client specifications

Role Description The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Process Engineer to drive standardization, integrating the latest technologies in our Delivery Stations and proposing new innovation initiatives. As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for: - Designing new Delivery Stations. - Supporting process optimization and new technologies integration in legacy sites. - Improving safety, customer experience, quality, and cost. - Acting as a key point of contact for your area of responsibility in the country you support. - Partnering with local Operations teams and other operational support functions. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - Experience in reliability/maintenance environments. - Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering. - Knowledge of project management tools. - Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques. - Experience working with CMMS software. - Experience working with and managing third-party vendors. - MBA or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field. - Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level. - Experience with data analysis (including advanced Excel and database analysis). - Experience using one or more of the following CAD technologies: AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, or KeyShot. Requirements - Drive new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration. - Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in EU-wide programs and products, owning all layout integrations and optimizations in the assigned Delivery Stations. - Contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing with EU counterparts. - Provide process expertise on engineering design defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements, and real estate implications from process requirements. - Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve the processes and stations designs, engaging and influencing their key stakeholders.
