Civil 3D Designer / Civil Engineering Drafter

Remotely

• Prepare civil engineering drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for land development and infrastructure projects in Australia • Assist with the design and drafting of residential subdivisions, stormwater drainage systems, roadworks, earthworks, and sewer and water reticulation networks • Develop surfaces, grading models, pipe networks, long sections, cross sections, and detailed engineering plans • Produce concept plans, detailed design drawings, development approval (DA) drawings, operational works (OPW) drawings, and as-constructed documentation • Revise and update drawings based on engineering mark-ups and project requirements • Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, planners, architects, and other consultants • Maintain organised project files and drafting standards • Support quality control procedures and ensure documentation accuracy • Assist with quantity calculations, project documentation, and technical deliverables • Contribute to project delivery from concept design through to construction documentation

Job Requirements

  • 4-7+ years of experience in civil drafting, civil design, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on civil engineering or land development projects in Australia
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (essential)
  • Experience using AutoCAD for civil engineering drafting and documentation
  • Experience with residential subdivisions, stormwater management, earthworks, road design, sewer, and water infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of civil engineering drawings, design standards, and drafting best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience producing drawings and documentation to Australian Standards, with an understanding of local codes, specifications, and project delivery requirements
  • Previous experience supporting clients in AU/NZ/US/UK/CA or similar markets highly regarded.
