EMR Analyst
Rochester Regional Health
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the software with primary focus in the application or area of his or her assigned support area. • Responsible for troubleshooting reported issues within the software and analyzing the root cause to determine resolution. • Responsible for design, build, test, validation and support of the software on an ongoing basis. • Communicates effectively to end users and leadership regarding build changes and project plans. • Assists end-users on proper use of the application. • Implements approved changes based on customer-designated priorities. • Manages assigned RFCs with minimal assistance and follows defined processes and deadlines. • Executes unit and system test cases and documents testing results. • Validates build or resolution of issues with end users prior to closing request.
Job Requirements
- Associates Degree, preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Understanding/knowledge of clinical/peripheral healthcare functions and work processes
- Understanding of technology related to functional processes/workflow
- EMR Certification (to be obtained within 6 month after hire, if required for job function)
