Vice President of Aftermarket Sales

Role Description The Vice President of Aftermarket Sales will lead Vogelsang USA’s aftermarket growth strategy, driving revenue through replacement parts, service programs, upgrades, repairs, rebuilds, and lifecycle support offerings. - Develop and execute the North American aftermarket growth strategy. - Build multi-year plans to increase parts, service, and upgrade revenue. - Identify new aftermarket business models and recurring revenue opportunities. - Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and succession planning. - Lead aftermarket sales through a network of distributors across multiple industries. - Strengthen distributor engagement, accountability, and performance. - Develop programs that increase aftermarket penetration within existing accounts. - Partner with OEM customers to maximize lifecycle revenue opportunities. - Drive adoption of service contracts, preventative maintenance programs, and rebuild offerings. - Improve customer retention and lifetime value. - Create data-driven approaches to installed base management. - Identify high-value opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, and modernization projects. - Establish VOC (Voice of Customer) processes that improve customer experience and aftermarket capture rates. - Build and mentor future leaders within the organization. - Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, customer service, and product management. - Establish KPIs and accountability measures that drive profitable growth. Qualifications - 5–8 years of successful aftermarket sales leadership experience. - Proven experience selling aftermarket parts, service, repairs, or upgrades for a rotating equipment manufacturer. - Experience working through independent distribution channels. - Experience selling directly to OEM customers. - Demonstrated success growing revenue, margins, and market share. - Strong commercial and business-development skills. - Ability to travel approximately 10 overnight trips per month. Preferred Experience - Experience with pumps, compressors, blowers, mixers, grinders, gearboxes, motors, or other rotating equipment. - Experience building aftermarket programs from the ground up. - Experience leading national or regional sales organizations. - Exposure to municipal, industrial, wastewater, agriculture, biogas, transportation, or OEM markets. Education - Bachelor’s degree required. - Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree strongly preferred. - MBA is a plus.
