Retail Loan Officer

• Proactively self-generate mortgage leads through networking, prospecting, and relationship development. • Cultivate and maintain a strong network of realtors, builders, and other referral sources to drive new purchase business. • Guide borrowers through every step of the loan process with professionalism and clear communication. • Analyze borrower credit, income, and assets to recommend appropriate loan products. • Collaborate closely with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure timely and compliant loan closings. • Stay current on mortgage products, lending guidelines, and market trends. • Represent the company at community and industry events to expand visibility and grow your referral network.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Active NMLS license and all required state licensing.
- Minimum 2 years of recent loan origination experience in a purchase-driven, self-sourced environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain referral relationships that consistently generate funded volume.
- Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo products.
- Excellent sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in loan origination systems (e.g., Byte, Encompass, or similar) and standard business software.
- Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial — thrives working independently, managing daily activities, and driving results without direct supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated, high-potential candidates.

• Reporting to a Program Manager, College Access Coaches are dynamic and motivated undergraduate students who virtually support high school students in their journeys to college. • Respond to student text messages received on our texting platform Mainstay within 24 hours • Check Mainstay messaging platform daily, at minimum an hour a day to ensure all messages are seen and being responded to • Provide engaging support to students, including advice, resources and encouragement around topics such as: completing tasks to apply for college, completing financial applications, enrolling into a college, talking to their guidance counselor, accessing academic support, school-work-life balance, and other obstacles • Offer a college perspective - sharing relevant stories from your experience as a college student to help students navigate their own journey • Send relevant tip sheets from LGR curriculum and guide students to make good use the school resources available to them • Develop warm rapport with students and ask follow-up questions, with the goals of increasing program engagement and supporting matriculation and persistence in college • Creatively develop relationships with a caseload of students by sending individualized text messages and emails with additional resources • Complete virtual learning modules (LGR360) in a timely manner, which cover topics such as culturally responsive mentorship, active listening, and how to facilitate student goal setting • Conduct mandatory monthly check-in calls via phone/video to students for further assistance with the college access process • Track communication with mentees using our Salesforce data platform • Attend weekly supervision meetings (video) with Program Manager to discuss progress towards goals, quality of engagement with students, troubleshoot issues, flag urgent/sensitive situations, and plan for the upcoming week • Participate in mandatory monthly coach meetings for professional development and to discuss critical programmatic updates
• Provide virtual physician services supporting the onsite DFAS Occupational Health Clinics • Review and develop standing orders for clinic procedures, workflows, and responsibilities including walk-in care, vaccinations/immunizations, health screenings, emergency medical care, and medication administration • Provide medical oversight of registered nurse staff with clarification of roles, responsibilities, and risk assignment • Respond to and assist with adverse events and emergency issues requiring physician expertise • Review abnormal laboratory and diagnostic test results within 48 hours or sooner if immediate need exists • Conduct initial and annual review of standing orders for the wellness center • Develop clinical protocols for workplace health assessments and occupational health surveillance • Provide guidance on health promotion programs and preventive care initiatives • Ensure regulatory compliance with occupational health and safety standards • Available for phone consultation regarding patient care decisions and emergency situations • Assess employee functional capacity and provide return-to-work recommendations • Review complex cases involving work-related injuries or illnesses • Conduct chart audits and case reviews of nursing duties performed
