Job Requirements

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer; or Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field, with three years on-site project administration
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as an on-site CI with at least one year as a Project Engineer or Manager
  • Ability to interpret transportation construction contracts, specifications, and plan interpretation
  • Proficient with computer software programs including Microsoft Word, One Note, Outlook, Excel, and project scheduling software
  • Knowledge and experience in context-sensitive design principles; safety and labor laws and requirements; value engineering proposals; quality control/quality assurance principles; traffic control; materials, and construction methods
  • Experience with on-site construction inspection services involving environmentally sensitive areas such as National Forests, Fish and Wildlife Refuges, and National Parks
