Freelance Claims Handler (P&C)

Sqwad

• Receive and process claims notifications • Manage the administrative and operational follow-up of files • Support policyholders throughout the claims process • Analyze documents and information required for claims handling • Manage communications with stakeholders (policyholders, experts, insurers, third parties, etc.) • Handle subrogation and recovery actions when necessary • Ensure compliance with procedures and processing deadlines • Update tracking and management tools

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) claims management
  • Good knowledge of claims settlement processes
  • Experience in front office, back office, or recovery/subrogation handling is a plus
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Proficiency with IT tools/software
  • Experience in home, motor, or multi-risk insurance is highly valued
  • Registered as a self-employed contractor (auto-entrepreneur) required
  • Based in France
  • Available at least 35 hours per week
