• Drive performance management, hiring, 1-on-1s, and development for your team of 8 engineers. Foster a culture of quality and operational accountability. • Establish framework guardrails, control delivery, verify quality, and enforce strict engineering standards using modern tooling. • Own the technical roadmap for the live platform, make sound system design trade-offs, write Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and prioritize technical debt. • Partner closely with Commercial leaders and Campaign Management to translate technical realities into business language. • Conduct critical code reviews, lead incident response, and drive critical bug resolution or technical debt triage.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of total software engineering experience, incl. 4+ years in engineering leadership, directly managing frontend and/or backend engineering teams.
  • You maintain absolute composure and clear, structured thinking when multiple operational issues arise simultaneously.
  • You hold yourself and your team to a high technical bar, and you see very high standards on platform integrity as non-negotiable.
  • You are comfortable navigating and guiding engineering roadmaps in a growth environment.
  • You bring hands-on experience or deep technical comfort with TypeScript, PHP, Snowflake, AWS, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • You have experience implementing and utilizing code quality tools such as SonarQube and Cypress, and documenting decisions through ADRs.
  • Ideally you have domain expertise in AdTech / MarTech and high-complexity SaaS products.
  • You feel comfortable working in a remote-first environment.
