Role Description Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a RF Design Engineer 3 / Ingénieur concepteur RF 3 to join their team. As a RF Design Engineer 3 / Ingénieur concepteur RF 3, you will be part of the network expansion and upgrade support team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex projects, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? - Lead the design and coverage modeling for 5G NR, utilizing advanced propagation tools and SC6 experience. - Support site acquisition strategies by selecting optimal site candidates and defining antenna parameters such as height, azimuth, and tilt. - Architect and support network upgrades related to ORAN, ensuring multi-vendor compatibility and integration. - Leverage AI and Data Science frameworks like Python to automate legacy processes, including link budget calculations and design workflows. - Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network deployment projects, ensuring technical milestones are achieved through effective cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications - Advanced experience with 5G NR design and coverage modeling, particularly with SC6 and propagation tools. - Expertise in RF engineering, propagation tools, and site acquisition processes. - Knowledge of ORAN architecture and multi-vendor network compatibility. - Experience with project leadership and managing complex network upgrade initiatives. - Proficiency in automation using Python or Data Science frameworks, and familiarity with AI/ML automation techniques.
