Middle Contract Lawyer, Russian Speaker

• Review, draft, negotiate, and amend a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, SaaS agreements, consulting agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and customer agreements • Analyze and adapt non-standard contracts received from clients, partners, suppliers, and other third parties • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus on UK jurisdiction • Identify legal, financial, and operational risks and provide practical recommendations to stakeholders • Support contract negotiations with clients and vendors to achieve commercially favorable outcomes • Collaborate closely with business, sales, operations, finance, and management teams on contractual matters • Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation through execution and renewal • Develop and improve contract templates, clause libraries, and internal legal processes • Conduct legal research on contractual and commercial law matters across various jurisdictions • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure proper document management practices
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Contract Lawyer, Commercial Lawyer, Legal Counsel, or similar role
- Strong experience working with UK commercial contracts and UK legal frameworks
- Experience supporting contracts across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven ability to review and negotiate both standard and highly customized agreements
- Experience working with B2B commercial contracts in international business environments
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk assessment, and legal compliance principles
- Ability to identify legal risks and propose practical business-oriented solutions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
- Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), work orders, and change orders. • Support a wide range of business functions by handling diverse contract types, including IT licenses and SaaS subscriptions, event and sponsorship agreements, and material transfer agreements (MTAs). • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on contract terms, risk allocation, and negotiation strategy. • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Procurement, IT, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to support day-to-day contracting needs. • Support manufacturing and supply chain-related agreements, including those involving CMOs, CDMOs, and distribution partners, as part of a broader commercial practice. • Ensure contracts align with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry. • Contribute to contract process improvements, including development of templates, playbooks, and scalable workflows. • Manage multiple concurrent matters with competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
