• Act as a business-oriented legal advisor, balancing compliance with competitiveness and identifying innovative solutions to drive business forward. • Draft, advise on, update, implement, and ensure compliance with loan agreements and related documentation for the Danish market. • Track changes in industry legislation and ensure timely implementation. • Negotiate, prepare, and evaluate legal documents for business partnerships, vendors, and subcontractors in Denmark. • Guide the Country Manager and legal team in compliance and legal matters. • Cooperate with internal departments and stakeholders to provide legal expertise. • Handle customer complaints, regulatory queries, and assist the debt recovery team, ensuring the company’s interests are protected. • Perform additional legal tasks as needed in the scope of the role.
Job Requirements
- Master of Laws degree obtained in Denmark and 5+ years of experience in a similar role (in-house or law firm), including internships.
- A deep understanding of Danish consumer credit regulations and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills applicable to business agreements and partnerships.
- Ability to manage and resolve customer complaints while protecting the company’s interests.
- Experience advising cross-functional teams on compliance and legal matters.
- Proficiency in analyzing legislative changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Excellent spoken and written Danish and English.
