Role Description Our team requires a Senior Python Engineer to join a constantly evolving team, building the next generation of AI models. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing scalable data processing pipelines, performing qualitative data analysis, and contributing to the efficient acquisition and transformation of large-scale datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software development and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust Python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web. - Develop and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis. - Build and maintain scalable data processing pipelines. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly. - Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and quality standards. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for software systems and processes. - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across disciplines. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering. - Strong proficiency in Python and Python scripting. - Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting. - Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries. - Demonstrated experience with data pipelines and large-scale data processing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience with web scraping and handling large, unstructured datasets. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Understanding of DevOps practices and tools. - Exposure to data analytics and machine learning concepts.
