Escrow Auditor

Old Republic Title

• Review and analyze escrow account reconciliations submitted by title agents. • Identify potential risk factors, irregularities, or practices that could impact agents or the company. • Communicate findings and recommendations to agents and management. • Identify outstanding premium or search revenue reflected in reconciliations and report findings to management. • Review in-house closings and agent escrow accounts as requested. • Assist with audits of prospective and terminated agents. • Prepare detailed written audit reports and maintain organized audit workpapers. • Partner with internal stakeholders to support risk mitigation and compliance efforts.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and other business applications.
  • Prior accounting, bookkeeping, escrow, title, or real estate closing experience preferred.
  • Experience reviewing financial records, reconciliations, or transaction documentation preferred.
  • Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of potential risk.
