Role Description Act as an attorney who represents TMLF and TMLF creditor clients in pre-litigation issues, foreclosure actions, bankruptcy, evictions, excess proceeds, and other litigation matters as assigned. Will also work with TMLF team on internal case processing. - Efficient management of multiple pre-litigation issues, foreclosure actions, bankruptcy, evictions, excess proceeds, and other litigation matters as assigned. - Timely preparation of high quality letters, emails, foreclosure documents, pleadings, motions, discovery, disclosure, and appellate briefs as assigned. - Reviews, audits, and edits legal work product of department staff. - Provides guidance, feedback, and approval on legal work product to non-attorney staff and as requested. - Maintains a high level of ethical standards concerning case load. - Attend court hearings, mediations, trials, and oral arguments as required. - Initial intake and preparation of strategy analysis of new cases assigned. - Research applicable to assigned cases. - Accurate recording of billable work performed. - Provides excellent customer service to clients. - Commitment to continued education/learning by attending CLEs, etc. - Assist with other tasks as assigned by Managing Attorney. Qualifications - This position requires a Juris Doctorate, Texas State Bar license in good standing. - 5+ years of legal practice experience required. - Experience with bankruptcy matters as they relate to default/servicing. - Experience handling foreclosure proceedings. - Possess relevant technology competencies such as Westlaw and time-billing software. - Foreclosure, Title and bankruptcy knowledge. - Ability to prioritize workload. - Legal research and writing skills. - Excellent communication skills. Role Description The Attorney Relations Customer Service Representative will be responsible for maintaining docket of cases weekly and obtaining updates on those cases in a timely manner. Making sure attorneys are performing to standard. The Attorney Relations State Docket CSR will report directly to the Attorney Relations Supervisor. - Provide the best possible customer service for members, attorneys, and associates through inbound and outbound phone calls. - Obtain specific information from a court or attorney regarding a traffic citation and input that information into the computer system. - Recognize any case that may need specific actions to be taken and properly notify Supervisor/Manager. - Precisely input any information given by courts or attorneys into the computer system. - Properly complete various forms of paperwork needed to handle the case in the best possible manner. - Zero out docket weekly. - Perform other duties as assigned by team lead/Supervisor when needed. - Arrive on time and stay for the duration of your scheduled shift. - Maintain proper records of attendance by correctly using the Paycom system. - Report to Supervisor/Manager. Qualifications - High School Diploma (or GED) required. - 2 years customer service experience preferred. - Must be able to type at least 30 WPM. - Must be able to operate a computer, use the internet and be familiar with 10-key. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office. - Excellent verbal and written (both typed and handwritten) communication. - Highly self-motivated and results oriented. - Ability to perform in a high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environment. - Strong phone presence and ability to handle a high volume of calls.
