Qualifications - 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture leadership roles. - Proven experience designing and scaling large distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. - Strong expertise in security, identity, APIs, data architecture, and modern application platforms. - Experience leading architecture across complex enterprise environments. - Experience conducting technical due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, including evaluation of architecture, engineering maturity, security, scalability, operational readiness, and integration complexity. - Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and large engineering organizations. - Deep understanding of modern software development practices including DevSecOps, SRE, CI/CD, and platform engineering. - AI-first mindset with practical experience applying AI technologies to software development, operational efficiency, platform capabilities, or customer experiences. - Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with generative AI, LLM platforms, AI infrastructure, or AI governance frameworks. - Background in cybersecurity, identity, SaaS, or enterprise platforms. - Experience driving digital transformation in high-growth or global organizations. - Track record of building architecture practices and mentoring senior technical leaders. - Experience integrating acquired technologies and engineering organizations into larger enterprise platforms. • Supporting and optimising the Oracle EBS system to ensure business activities can progress without interruption • Maintaining system stability, performance and reliability • Investigating and resolving technical issues raised by the support team or business users • Carrying out regular maintenance activities to ensure system performance and uptime are maintained • Documenting change activities, procedures, and significant problem investigations to support knowledge sharing and operational efficiency • Analysing the ERP system, including integrations and reporting outputs, to identify and deliver enhancements that improve performance, uptime, error tracking, maintainability, and overall system resilience • Collaborating closely with reporting teams, using knowledge of ERP database modules to support SQL development and improve data extraction and reporting capabilities • Working with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating these into technical solutions for customisations and integrations, and ensuring successful delivery of changes from design through to implementation

• Contribute to ongoing optical architecture technical projects. For example: • Writing prototype software implementations for controlling and simulating the optical networks inside photonic quantum computers. • Applying results from quantum information theory, network design and/or optimization to improve optical architecture designs. • Development and discovery of new approaches to photonic quantum computing. • Simulate and benchmark different protocols. • Document and communicate results.
