Job Description

National Sales Training Manager

SIGVARIS GROUP Britain

• Creates, develops, and implements training modules for the field sales team and customer accounts. • Develops and implements annual sales training plan using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relative, and Time-Bound) format. • Collaborates internally with field sales, marketing, national accounts, and customer service to gain competitive insights, market trends, and new product innovation/launches to assist in the content development for training modules. • Develops content and conducts interactive training for national accounts and regional key accounts. • Produces quality content to increase SIGVARIS brand awareness that is in line with corporate guidelines. • Collaborates with the Director of Sales and Regional Sales Managers to identify training needs/gaps to help to improve sales force effectiveness. • Provides product demonstrations to help influence purchasing decisions by decision-makers in the accounts. • Takes an active role in the planning, content development, and execution for National and Regional Sales Meetings. • Attends and assists with regional/national tradeshows, conferences, and meetings when applicable. • Develops and leads Virtual and Instructor-led training (VILT/ILT) in multiple digital platforms. • Ability to create, use video editing software (apps), and stream live training modules when applicable. • Must be able to effectively promote SIGVARIS corporate values and company culture internally and externally. • Demonstrates effective communication skills. • Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO standards, 6S and Lean Manufacturing, and Federal, State, and local laws. • Accurately performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a sales trainer.
  • Preferred candidates will have training experience with medical compression therapy (and products) and thorough knowledge of venous disease and the lymphedema and lipedema markets , but not required.
  • Ability to create and execute annual sales training plans and develop training programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
  • Strong customer facing skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to listen and ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
  • Professional judgement and discretion.
