Product Management Intern – Member Engagement

Transcarent

• Shape part of the personalization & engagement strategy – Focus on a defined area of engagement (e.g., incentives, gamification, personalization) to identify feature opportunities, size the opportunity, and assess cost and level of effort • Own a project from start to finish – Scope and drive a product initiative through discovery, development, and launch, writing the user stories, specs, or PRDs that engineering builds against • Research and analyze – Interview customers, assess the competitive landscape, and dig into usage data and product metrics to surface insights and make evidence-backed recommendations • Collaborate and communicate – Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing, and present your findings and recommendations to senior leadership • Learn directly from the experts – You'll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship

Job Requirements

  • Rising junior, senior, or master's candidate in Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
  • 1–3 years of experience (including internships) in product management, with hands-on exposure to growth or engagement product work
  • Hands-on with data analysis — able to pull insights from product metrics, build a business case, and translate findings into clear product decisions; familiarity with tools like SQL, Amplitude, or Mixpanel is a plus
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, communicates clearly, and knows how to influence without authority
  • Passionate about healthcare, collaborative by nature, and eager to grow as a product manager
  • Available to dedicate 40 hours a week for 12 weeks
