Role Description The Category Manager will develop a specific group of categories, with the goal of maximizing sales, profits, and customer satisfaction metrics. This will be achieved by optimizing product mix, defining purchasing rules, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience on AUTODOC’s web and app platforms across target markets. The role focuses on driving category strategy development and execution to meet business objectives. A successful candidate for this high-impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, demonstrated strong ownership and commitment, and have proven leadership experience in driving cross-functional projects. - Develop and implement category-specific strategies to maximize sales and profit on target markets. - Create and implement an annual category development plan. - Define and enforce rules for assortment mix to optimize product offerings, creating an assortment matrix for various business models. - Establish category-specific pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and profitability. - Set requirements for the presentation of goods on Autodoc platforms to enhance customer experience, collaborating with the Product Tech team. - Lead performance reviews and ensure effective execution of Category strategies. - Participate in negotiations and regular business reviews with key players in assigned categories. Qualifications - Masters or Postgraduate degree in business management. - 5+ years working in a vendor management or P/L ownership role preferred. - 3+ years in Automotive or Automotive spare parts. - Language skills: English B1, fluency in additional European languages is preferable. - An understanding of and passion for the Automotive industry; 3+ years work in Automotive aftermarket commercial role. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities. - Strong numerical and analytical aptitude. - Innovative, team-oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
