Agility Robotics
• Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule • Validate payroll data including hours worked, earnings, deductions, and adjustments • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, garnishments and other mandates • Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with PeOps, Managers and employees to research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner • Monitor automated payroll tax remittance for issues, research and resolve issues as necessary • Prepare and review quarterly and annual payroll filings, tax or other filings • Support year-end reporting including W-2 processing and related reconciliations • Respond to tax notices and coordinate resolutions with agencies as needed • Administer payroll-related benefit deductions and employer contributions • Reconcile benefit invoices to payroll records • Identify and support resolution of benefits discrepancies in a timely manner • Coordinate 401(k) eligibility, contributions, and remittances • Assist with audits, nondiscrimination testing, and annual reporting requirements • Prepare payroll journal entries • Reconcile subledger to general ledger monthly • Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts • Support month-end and year-end close processes • Provide backup and/or support for Accounts Payable processing • Manage daily/weekly/monthly cash reconciliation activities • Support process improvements, audits, and other special projects • Collaborate with PeOps, Finance, internal and external customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of progressive payroll experience required
- 1+ years of general accounting experience a plus
- Experience processing multi-state payroll preferred
- Authorization to work in the USA.

• Administer full-cycle, semi-monthly payroll for 160+ U.S. employees in Rippling. • Ensure accurate processing of compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, retroactive adjustments, reimbursements, and deductions. • Manage payroll tax filings and remittances across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. • Own payroll account reconciliations and support month-end close. • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on payroll compliance, as well as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders, ensuring responsive and high-quality support. • Own all state tax and labor registrations (Departments of Revenue, Departments of Labor, unemployment insurance accounts, etc.). • Proactively manage registration setup as the company hires in new states. • Monitor and respond to state agency notices and audits. • Maintain compliance across wage and hour laws, remote employment regulations, and state-specific payroll requirements. • Implement and maintain payroll deductions for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA/FSA, and other benefits. • Own Accounts Payable operations, including vendor payments, tools, and one-off invoices. • Review and approve employee expense reimbursements via Ramp.
• Process end-to-end semi-monthly payrolls, including but not limited to timesheets, garnishments, benefits, taxes and variable payments, while ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations • Calculate, validate, get approval for, and process monthly commissions across Sales, Customer Success, and GTM teams with 100% accuracy and on-time delivery in collaboration with our Revenue Operations team • Audit and maintain accurate records of payroll and commission documentation and transactions • Support the accounting operations team in the administration of Scout (research respondent) incentive payments • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee compensation inquiries, including responding to payroll, commissions, and incentive disputes in a professional and timely manner • Collaborate with People, Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal teams in the administration of payroll and on payroll-related matters including commissions, benefits, taxation, and year-end reporting • Support month-end close, annual audits and other payroll-related projects, including year-end reporting preparation • Support end-to-end processing of international payrolls across multiple countries in coordination with external payroll vendors • Identify and implement improvements in payroll and commission systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy • Lead internal and external payroll and 401(k) audits • Help to develop and build, in conjunction with the Revenue Operations team, compensation calculators and models, both to administer the program and to support individual employees.
