Role Description The Clinical and Health Informaticist challenges the status quo of the healthcare experience through the Science of Informatics. This is an exciting field where experts innovate, design, simplify and translate technology to equitably support the Intermountain Health mission and vision. The position is responsible to perform workflow and system analysis and functional design for software development/configuration activities associated with clinical applications. Caregivers in this role are also responsible for participating in the implementation, training, adoption, and process improvement of Health Information Technology (HIT). The Informaticist functions as a liaison with business and clinical users and the software development/application teams. This position utilizes intermediate informatics principles to support and periodically lead moderately complex projects with limited supervision, while continuing to develop clinical understanding and an advanced informatics skillset. Essential Functions - Interact with business and clinical caregivers to build productive relationships - Work flexible hours to meet project requirements - Provide customer experience and service utilizing verbal and written communication skills - Prioritize and organize work with attention to detail and limited supervision - Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, virtual meeting applications, and scheduling applications - Demonstrated understanding of how clinical systems are utilized to provide patient care by a variety of caregivers and specialties - Use informatics fundamental skills to positively impact people, process, and tools - Use basic project management skills to contribute to technology project deliverables - Round in facilities across the system to observe workflows, meet with key stakeholders, assist with implementations, and other targeted functions Qualifications - Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system - Proven experience engaging providers, nurses, and other clinicians in learning through presentation and communication skills - Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to impact quality and safety - Experience participating and leading deliverables of Informatics projects - Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors - Experience or training in the use of Continuous Improvement - Registered Nurse and other licensed clinical incumbents must hold and maintain current state licensure Requirements - Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs - Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately - Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy, including frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use - Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment, including items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items - For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles Benefits - Generous benefits package that covers a wide range of programs to foster a sustainable culture of wellness - Focus on living healthy, happy, secure, connected, and engaged

Your Impact - Own the end-to-end engineering and validation of SGP.22 and SGP.32 eSIM products, including profile design reviews and translation of product requirements into technical specifications. - Define and execute certification and validation strategies using GSMA artefacts (e.g. SAIP, BAP), including lab and real-world interoperability testing across devices and networks. - Investigate and resolve complex cross-domain issues (SIM, device, network), providing clear root cause analysis and coordinating fixes with internal teams and external vendors. - Act as the technical point of contact for remote provisioning platforms (SMDP+, eIM) and SIM/eUICC vendors, including defining acceptance criteria and supporting go/no-go decisions for production rollout. - Produce clear technical documentation (test reports, defect analysis, certification status) to enable Product, Support, and Customer-facing teams. Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience in SIM/eSIM/eUICC engineering, validation, certification, or a closely related technical domain. - Proven experience working with GSMA standards, particularly SGP.22 and SGP.32. - Solid understanding of UICC/eUICC architecture, profile lifecycle, and OTA/provisioning processes. - Experience designing and executing test strategies using certification-style artefacts (e.g. SAIP, BAP or similar). - Ability to debug complex issues across SIM, device, and network layers and coordinate resolution with multiple stakeholders.
