• Manage the deployment and upkeep of internal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment • Install, configure, and maintain internal servers and services • Implement infrastructure changes and improvements • Plan and execute regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure system health and uptime • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within the infrastructure at both hardware and software levels
Job Requirements
- Proven, relevant experience in a similar or closely related role
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing and switching, at a level equivalent to CCNA certification
- Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware and Remote Access VPN solutions (Cisco ASA or Firepower)
- Nice to Have
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Programming skills in Go or Python
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration
- Experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
