Employee Benefits Account Manager

Patriot Growth Insurance Services, LLC

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employee benefits clients, delivering responsive, consultative service while building and maintaining strong client relationships. • Lead and support employee benefits renewals, including gathering census data, preparing renewal analyses, coordinating carrier quotes, and managing timelines. • Coordinate open enrollment activities, employee education, and benefit administration to support a positive client and employee experience. • Partner with Producers, Benefit Consultants, carriers, and internal team members to deliver customized benefit solutions and seamless service. • Review client documents, proposals, contracts, and benefit materials for accuracy and completeness. • Prepare renewal analyses, contribution modeling, benchmarking, and claims reporting for self-funded and fully insured clients. • Coordinate carrier submissions, RFP processes, and internal workflows. • Identify opportunities to support account growth, cross-sell additional services, and strengthen client relationships. • Maintain accurate documentation, client records, and policy history within agency management and CRM systems. • Respond to client inquiries related to benefits, billing, claims, eligibility, and policy administration in a timely and professional manner. • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency, workflow management, and client retention efforts. • Stay informed on employee benefits trends, compliance requirements, carrier updates, and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits account management, consulting, or a related client service role preferred.
  • Life & Health insurance license preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Understanding of self-funding and captive models, or similar experience in alternative funding methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and client deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • Professional, client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
