• Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting process • Responsible for financial reporting, including monthly comparison of actual vs. budget results • Create monthly reporting packages for management and private equity sponsor • Monitor weekly cash forecasting tool • Perform comprehensive financial analyses • Proactively drive business performance and results analyses • Develop and implement fiscal operating budgets, policies and procedures • Develop, implement, and administer financial records • Develop, monitor, and distribute essential financial operating budgets • Review annual and intermediate budgets periodically • Responsible for negotiating allowable overhead with government • Coordinate quarterly reviews, annual audits, and consolidate financial statements • Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures

Job Requirements

Job Description Position Overview The KIPP NYC Chief Financial Officer is an essential leadership role on the KIPP NYC executive team, overseeing a nearly $200M annual operating budget, growing to nearly $300M by 2030.
