Role Description The Dream Opportunity is looking for an event speaker/host who is located in the USA to work alongside a fast-growing educational company. The ideal candidate will become a valuable member of a rapidly expanding team. - Be the event speaker/host for events with big brands/companies. - Host a panel where industry leaders will share insights about their brand. - Attend rehearsals for training on how to host workshops/panels. - Collaborate with team members to provide feedback on workshops/panels. - Attend meetings to help develop new workshops/panels for students and big brands. - Take editing and feedback in a collaborative, team-based creative process. - Bring energy, humor, excitement, and a collaborative spirit to a fast-paced, deadline-driven, highly creative team environment. Qualifications - Must be located in the USA, UK, Brazil, India, Mexico, Singapore, or the Philippines. - Strong verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and confidently with employees from big brands and students from low-income and minority communities. - Have a computer with Zoom and the ability to consistently be in an environment with effective Wi-Fi. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment. - Passionate and creative commitment to issues of race and identity. - Willingness to accept and explore different ideas and opinions. - Positive attitude and enjoyment in meeting others, showing authentic personality, and a true go-getter spirit. - Ability to work part-time with varied shifts. • Project Management and Coordination – coordinate, schedule, and manage field research activities such as interviews, focus groups, and survey administrations; cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with internal and external teams; assist with participant recruitment and incentive management. • Data Collection – establish and maintain data collection and implementation measurement systems to monitor program quality; participate in or lead various data collection efforts (e.g., focus group, surveys, interviews, etc.); conduct user needs assessments and use data-driven frameworks to guide continuous product iteration. • Quantitative Data Management/Analysis – build, maintain, clean, and manage large datasets (e.g., Common Core of Data school directory files, client implementation databases, etc.) using Stata, R or another statistical software package; effectively summarize descriptive data for client products, dissemination, and annual reports. • Report and Proposal Production – contribute to and/or lead the conceptualization and writing of small-to-large project reports and proposals; prepare descriptive reports, analytic sections, and evaluation reports; assist in the preparation and submission of large and small proposals. • Facilitation/Presentation – facilitate meetings and present research findings; interface with clients and lay persons related to data collection, analyses and reports; communicate effectively with a range of internal and external audiences including colleagues, clients, researchers, practitioners, and lay persons.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected from stakeholder surveys, interviews, and focus groups. • Synthesize complex information into overarching themes, trends, and actionable insights. • Draft clear and concise data summaries highlighting key findings, tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Support development of a detailed data collection plan and methodology for analysis based on research tools that have been developed and deployed. • Coordinate with partners to address qualitative data that may be unclear in meaning due to either transcription, translation, or contextualization. • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data collected from 13 countries, including quantitative data from approximately 1,300 surveys and qualitative data from 20-40 focus group discussions. • Draw out key findings and recommendations from the updated data collected. • Produce a written internal summary of key global findings and recommendations from the data.
