• Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for structured and unstructured data • Develop and operate data solutions in the Microsoft Azure environment, using Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric • Use Python and SQL (and frameworks such as PySpark) for data processing, transformation and automation • Contribute to data integration, data modeling, data quality and data provisioning across projects • Work with modern data architecture concepts such as Lakehouse and Medallion architectures • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to translate requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions
Job Requirements
- Around 2–4 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong Python skills (pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Spark, Delta Lake or similar frameworks) and solid hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem
- Good command of SQL
- Experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience designing and operating data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Experience with modern data architecture concepts such as Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion Architecture, Data Governance or semantic data models
- Strong communication skills — you enjoy direct customer contact and translating business problems into robust technical solutions
- English is sufficient; German is a plus.
