Senior Data Engineer, dbt, GCP

• Support and enhancement of processes in a GCP environment; • Development in Python; • Data ingestion with automated pipelines; • Processing and analysis of large volumes of data; • Simplification aimed at efficiency driven by customer needs; • Data- and fact-driven decision making with ownership; • Continuous, shared learning; • Create/maintain data flows and datasets; • Develop/model databases for dashboards and reports; • Document developed processes; • Gather and clarify database/variable requirements with the business.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with customer master data management projects (360-degree customer view);
  • Experience with Data Services API architecture;
  • Strong knowledge of dbt (Data Build Tool), especially dbt Core;
  • dbt experience with Jinja, macros, project structure, and dbt packages/modules;
  • Advanced SQL;
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB and similar);
  • Practical experience with data modeling;
  • Experience in Big Data projects;
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Dataproc (PySpark), Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, with advanced understanding of architectures;
  • Knowledge of Python, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, Logging, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage;
  • Experience with Git;
  • Minimum proven experience: 5 years (required).
