• Perform modeling of specific or multiple systems/disciplines. • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective shop drawings. • Oversee the 3D modeling and coordination process across one or more projects. • Support team members in interpreting code requirements and developing project strategies. • Manage BIM subcontractors on specific job assignments. • Participate in weekly staff and project meetings to confirm deadlines and quality optimization. • Review actual and projected costs against project budgets to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Assist in training opportunities and keep up with software developments.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in BIM MEP processes.
- Expert building systems, code, fabrication, and installation knowledge.
- Expert software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Fabrication, and Bluebeam) knowledge.
- Complete understanding of the BIM/VDC process.
- Ability to maintain patience and understanding in a stress-filled environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
- Experience in a leadership role with responsibility for the development of others.
