• Design end-to-end experiences for gaiia’s operational platform, from early concepts and prototypes to polished, shipped UI. • Partner with product and engineering to frame ambiguous problems, set direction, and translate strategy into clear scopes, strong interaction models, and durable design decisions. • Use research and rapid iteration to make complex workflows simpler, faster, and more trustworthy. • Help shape squad priorities by clarifying tradeoffs, defining what success looks like, and aligning stakeholders around the best path forward. • Build and evolve our design system so teams can ship consistently high-quality experiences as the product scales. • Use AI thoughtfully to explore more options, validate decisions sooner, and increase the impact of your work. • Partner with QA to review and validate designs through testing, clear specs, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. • Raise the bar on craft, accessibility, and clarity by sweating the details that make software feel effortless. • Help level up the team by sharing feedback, mentoring, and raising the quality bar through design reviews and collaboration.

• Lead by example as an individual contributor, setting the quality bar for component design, interaction patterns, and documentation. • Drive consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all design deliverables. • Define and steward a long-term design roadmap that responds to enterprise-wide needs and product team realities. • Partner with engineering, product, and brand leadership to align system direction with broader organizational goals. • Build a culture of system literacy through workshops, onboarding programs, and ongoing coaching. • Identify systemic gaps, adoption risks, and governance needs to build pragmatic structures for the organization.

Role Description We’re looking for a senior product designer to provide short-term execution support during a period of elevated design demand. This role is intentionally focused on shipping high-quality, build-ready UX for well-defined problems, while our internal design team remains focused on foundational systems, core product workflows, and long-term strategy. This is a time-bound engagement with clear scope, ownership, and success criteria.
