What You Will Do - Own and prioritize the Majesco Billing product backlog to maximize customer value and align with strategic roadmap objectives. - Define and manage epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for billing and payment capabilities. - Partner with engineering and architecture teams to translate complex insurance business requirements into scalable product solutions. - Drive product enhancements across billing operations, premium receivables, cash application, commissions, payment processing, returned payments, reconciliation, and financial transactions. - Collaborate with insurers, implementation teams, and customer-facing stakeholders to identify market needs, product gaps, and modernization opportunities. - Validate delivered functionality with QA and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and release readiness. - Champion an AI-first product strategy by identifying opportunities to improve automation, decision support, workflow efficiency, and customer experience. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, roadmap planning, product reviews, and release management activities. - Support go-to-market readiness through product documentation, release communications, demos, and stakeholder enablement. Qualifications - 8 plus years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Functional Leadership within insurance technology. - Deep expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance billing operations and billing system workflows. - Hands-on experience working at: - A P&C insurance carrier, - An insurance software vendor, or - Both environments (strongly preferred). - Strong understanding of insurance billing, premium receivables, payment processing, commissions, cash management, reconciliation, and billing-related integrations. - Experience translating business requirements into actionable product backlogs and delivery outcomes. - Proven success working within Agile software development environments. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred. - Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
