Role Description The BDR - General Outbound role is responsible for driving new meeting volume for Skaled through high-quality cold outbound prospecting and calling. This role focuses on Skaled's core audience of revenue, sales, and operations leaders and supports pipeline generation across all Skaled service lines. This role requires strong outbound fundamentals, consistency, and comfort with cold calling. - Execute cold outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn using Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, or similar tools - Prospect into roles such as: - CRO - VP Sales - VP RevOps - Sales Ops leaders - Follow outbound cadences and messaging frameworks - Conduct effective cold calls to uncover interest and qualify prospects - Book qualified meetings for Skaled consultants - Maintain accurate activity and outcome tracking in CRM - Continuously refine messaging based on feedback and results Qualifications - Prior BDR/SDR or outbound sales experience - Strong cold-calling skills and comfort handling objections - Experience with sales engagement platforms (Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, etc.) - Strong communication and follow-through - Ability to manage high-volume outbound activity Requirements - Meetings booked per week/month - Call volume and connect rates - Outreach-to-meeting conversion rate - Meeting show rate Success in This Role Success is defined by consistent outbound execution, reliable meeting production, and contribution to Skaled's pipeline goals.
