Job Description
Mechanical Engineer
Goldbelt, Incorporated
• Review mechanical/HVAC design documents, calculations, and submittals for completeness, constructability, and alignment with Government requirements; provide written comments and recommended resolutions. • Support facility condition assessments by evaluating mechanical systems documentation, identifying deficiencies, and drafting recommended corrective actions. • Perform technical research and analysis related to HVAC performance, ventilation, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality; document findings for Government consideration. • Develop and/or review equipment schedules, sequence of operations narratives, and engineering options analyses to support Government evaluation. • Draft technical inputs for Statements of Work, performance requirements, acceptance criteria, and evaluation factors for Government review and approval. • Coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines to identify interfaces (e.g., power, controls, space constraints) and integration issues. • Support commissioning and closeout documentation reviews (as applicable), including verification checklists and deficiency tracking. • Prepare technical briefings, decision-support matrices, and executive summaries for Government stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible mechanical/HVAC engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOJ/BOP suitability, background investigation, and facility access as required
- Working knowledge of applicable mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IMC) and engineering best practices
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical documentation, comment matrices, and decision-support analyses
- Proficiency with common tools (e.g., MS Office; familiarity with energy modeling or commissioning workflows is a plus)

• Lead the end-to-end solution design process and implementation of AEP and CJA using Adobe Data Collection (Tags), Experience Data Model (XDM), and source connectors for both Web and mobile applications. • Conduct audits and assessments of existing Adobe Data Collection (Tags), AEP and CJA implementations, providing best practice recommendations. • Collaborate with Data Architects to integrate other data sets within AEP and CJA. • Simplify complex technical concepts and educate team members and clients in a clear, approachable way. • Create AEP Schemas and datasets • Setup and configure Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) connections, data views, components, derived fields and Workspaces. • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentor junior engineers in best practices around requirements gathering, solution design, AEP XDM schema design and Adobe Web/Mobile SDK implementation. • Stay current on the latest Adobe Experience Platform features and data engineering trends to inform client strategies.
