Role Description The Part-Time Instructor – Accounting is responsible for delivering high-quality synchronous online instruction to college-level students. This includes helping students develop foundational and advanced accounting knowledge, financial analysis skills, business communication abilities, and practical applications necessary for academic and professional success within the accounting field. - Deliver live, scheduled online class sessions, and actively teach during all assigned meeting times. - Develop and deliver lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and other learning activities related to accounting principles, financial analysis, payroll, taxation, computerized accounting, and business operations. - Design and implement assessments, including exams, quizzes, projects, presentations, case studies, spreadsheet activities, and applied accounting assignments, to evaluate student progress. - Use a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, simulations, real-world business applications, accounting software, and technology-based instruction to support student learning. - Facilitate critical thinking, problem-solving, financial analysis, and application of accounting concepts and business practices. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field required; individuals with credentials in another subject area may be considered with evidence of at least 15 semester credits in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration coursework and relevant related experience to support subject area expertise. - Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level preferred. - Proven ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies for diverse learners. - Experience with online learning management systems/platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) and instructional technology is a plus. - Experience using accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and computerized accounting systems preferred. - Experience utilizing AI-enhanced accounting, financial analysis, and educational technologies to support instruction, data analysis, problem-solving, and student engagement is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Role Description Aktuell sind wir auf der Suche nach einem Experten/einer Expertin im Bereich Finanzbuchhaltung, der/die komplexe Themen verständlich erklären kann und Freude daran hat, Wissen praxisnah zu vermitteln. - Durchführung des Moduls Finanzbuchhaltung im Rahmen unseres Kurses; - Unterrichten auf Deutsch, unsere Teilnehmer verfügen über ein Sprachniveau B1-B2; - Die Unterrichtseinheiten finden von 9:00 bis 12:30 Uhr statt; - Unterstützung des Dozententeams bei der Aktualisierung und Abstimmung der Unterrichtsmaterialien mit den Kurszielen; - Unterstützung der Teilnehmenden beim Verständnis der Inhalte, auch im Online-Lernumfeld; - Zusammenarbeit mit Koordinatoren, Mentoren und anderen Dozenten. Qualifications - Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Buchhaltung, Finanzen oder als Steuerberater in deutschen Unternehmen; - Hochschulbildung/Ausbildung im Bereich Buchhaltung, Finanzen, Rechnungswesen; - Sicherer Umgang mit Datev; - Interesse am Unterrichten; - Kommunikationsstärke und Fähigkeit, komplexe Themen in verständlicher Sprache zu erklären. • Plan and organize resources to perform routine and scheduled functions as well as to respond to business unit questions • Ensure the team is effectively trained in their assigned processes and work products are appropriately reviewed • Model the core values of the department in their deadlines with others and develop and implement practices that ensure the satisfaction, recognition, and engagement of their team members • Ensure processes are operation effectively and efficiently, implementing best practices and improvements in a standardized way across all finance related functions • Ensure all balance sheet accounts continuously reflect accurate financial position adhering to GAAP and company accounting policies • Monitor and drive the LEAN Educated program and training amongst the team • Participate in execution of FSSC strategy for continuous improvements, including influencing the culture within the department • Evaluate and enhance financial controls and other risk measurement and mitigation elements • Manage service level (SLA) expectations, performance metrics and KPIs

• Own accounts receivable: daily invoicing, payment application, AR follow-up, and collections (QuickBooks Online + Zoho CRM) • Lead month-end close: journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting • Handle accounts payable, commission processing, and payroll journal entries • File 1099s and Minnesota Sales and Use Tax accurately and on time • Send KPI reports to leadership and proactively flag anything that needs attention • Identify process improvements and contribute to how the accounting department runs
