Own the full lifecycle of features - database schema to UI component - while maintaining high code quality standards and contributing to architectural decisions. • Collaborate & Deliver – Work within agile product teams to deliver high-quality features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions across both backend and frontend. Partner with designers and product managers to translate requirements into complete, working solutions. • Innovate & Improve – Tackle complex technical problems that span the full stack, propose innovative solutions and continuously improve our development practices, tooling, and user experience. • AI-Accelerated Development – Leverage AI coding assistants and tools to accelerate development velocity across the full stack. Help establish and refine AI-assisted development workflows, prompting strategies, and best practices for the team. Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools that improve code quality, testing, and developer productivity. • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Pulumi and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. • Automate deployment processes for cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance. • Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve developer productivity. • Implement observability best practices, including logging, monitoring, and alerting for cloud services. • Optimize cloud costs and performance, ensuring efficient use of AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. • Collaborate with engineers to improve infrastructure security, compliance, and operational resilience. • Engage with the Pulumi open-source community, sharing best practices and contributing to enhancements in infrastructure automation.

• Work with the team to select, scope, and drive high-velocity experiments and features that directly impact advertiser retention and revenue (e.g., automated campaign optimization, churn prevention, serving side adjustments). • Define the technical roadmap for "full campaign lifecycle support," designing systems that can intelligently guide advertisers through optimization, reporting, and reactivation. • Maintain a hands-on focus, executing on strategies to create world-class experiences for SMBs. You will lead the development of complex features like one click campaign configurations and targeting and ads serving optimizations. • Mentor, coach, and collaborate with other engineers, fostering a culture of experimentation, speed, and technical excellence. • Partner deeply with Cross-Functional (XFN) teams—including Ads Formats, Ads Signals, and Ads Serving—to ensure our retention products leverage the full power of Reddit’s ads stack. • Stay ahead of the curve on growth engineering best practices, driving a data-driven mindset where every technical decision is tied to business impact.
