Job Description
HIM Analyst
R1 RCM
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate remediation of data integrity issues. • Collaborate with internal and external customers and providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts. • Support all areas of HIM operations as needed • Oversee and/or monitor one or more HIM functions. • Communicate directly with all hospital departments and staff to resolve medical record errors. • Collaborate across multiple internal and external departments to ensure resolution of errors.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the HIM field, preferably in chart analysis.
- Strong Microsoft application skills
- A drive to understand and troubleshoot, and a strong analytic mindset to deliver problem solving
- Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare EMR experience
- A collaborative mentality and ability to interact across multiple teams
- Ability to think outside the box to drive process improvement
- Ability to multi-task and independently manage project demands in a dynamic environment
