Role Description As a Legal Counsel, you'll become a trusted legal partner for product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams, helping us grow responsibly while staying compliant across key markets. - Provide Legal Guidance Across the Business: - Advise product, marketing, operations, and other teams on GDPR, IP, IT, employment, consumer rights, and regulatory matters. - Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations that support business goals while ensuring compliance. - Draft, Review & Negotiate Contracts: - Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service, partnership, agency, licensing, distribution, and vendor contracts. - Support business stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle. - Support Mobile App Operations: - Maintain the full legal framework for our mobile applications. - Draft and update Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, Cookie Policies, and other user-facing legal documents. - Ensure compliance with consumer protection and subscription regulations across multiple jurisdictions. - Monitor Regulatory Changes: - Stay up to date with developments in data protection, intellectual property, marketing, payments, consumer rights, and technology law. - Translate regulatory changes into actionable recommendations for internal teams. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: - Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams. - Help balance legal requirements with business objectives in a fast-paced product environment. Qualifications - 2–3 years of legal experience supporting digital subscription businesses, SaaS, mobile apps, or technology companies. - Strong knowledge of: - GDPR and privacy regulations; - Intellectual Property law; - Consumer protection requirements; - Product development and digital business considerations. - Experience working with international jurisdictions, particularly across North America and Europe. - Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a practical, business-friendly way. - Professional fluency in English. Requirements - Experience supporting subscription-based mobile products. - Knowledge of advertising and marketing compliance. - Additional European languages (e.g. Polish). - Experience working in a fast-growing product company.
