Role Description TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Rheumatologist to join our growing virtual specialty care team in a full-time (FTE) capacity. This role allows you to deliver high-quality rheumatologic care through a fully remote telehealth platform while maintaining an excellent work–life balance. - 37-hour clinical workweek - Opportunities to provide APP supervision - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team - Manage chronic and complex rheumatologic conditions using evidence-based medicine What You Will Do - Provide virtual rheumatology consultations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans via telehealth - Manage chronic autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including medication management and treatment monitoring - Conduct follow-up visits and longitudinal care for established patients - Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as applicable - Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR - Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care - Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications - MD or DO - Completed fellowship training in Rheumatology - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology - Active, unrestricted CA medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred) - DEA license in good standing - Experience or interest in APP supervision - Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment - Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care Benefits - Full-Time (FTE) role with 37 clinical hours per week - 100% remote telehealth practice - Competitive base salary - Quarterly bonus opportunity based on RVUs, patient satisfaction (NPS), and defined performance KPIs - KPI details provided post start date - Malpractice coverage provided - Administrative and clinical support to reduce non-clinical workload - Established telehealth infrastructure and technology - Opportunity to expand access to specialty rheumatology care nationwide
