• Answer inbound and outbound patient calls professionally • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits • Assist with prior authorizations and referral coordination • Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and outstanding requirements • Communicate with insurance companies regarding eligibility, coverage, and authorizations • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR • Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and external healthcare partners • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times • Deliver exceptional customer service and support patient retention

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Care Coordination, Patient Services, Medical Scheduling, Insurance Verification, or a related healthcare administrative role
  • Previous experience working with Illinois-based insurance plans
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient coordination processes
  • Must have a HIPAA compliance certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Must have a experience with SimplePractice EHR

Role Description KPMG’s Forensic practice is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to join our team, supporting the quantification of insurance claims related to motor vehicle accidents.
