Marketing Operations Intern

• Support Marketing Reporting and Data Management • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of recurring marketing reports by gathering, organizing, and updating data within standardized templates • Ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting outputs and support tracking of campaign and project activity • Maintain Data Quality and Organization • Clean, format, and organize datasets including contact lists, campaign exports, and internal trackers • Maintain file organization, naming conventions, and shared folders to ensure accessibility and consistency across the team • Assist with Marketing Operations and Workflow Tracking • Support day-to-day operational processes by logging incoming requests, updating project trackers, and helping maintain visibility into project status and workload • Contribute to improving organization and efficiency across the team • Provide Quality Control and Compliance Support • Support the reapproval process for sunset marketing materials by identifying expiring assets, initiating resubmission workflows, and coordinating updates to ensure all content remains compliant with current regulatory and internal standards • Support Content and Asset Management • Organize marketing assets and maintain version control across shared platforms • Assist with uploading, tagging, and maintaining content libraries used by the marketing team • Assist with Process Documentation and Operational Efficiency • Document repeatable tasks and workflows to support consistency and scalability • Help create simple guides and checklists that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across the team • Develop Under Marketing Leadership • Receive guidance and mentorship from marketing leadership and team members, gaining exposure to marketing within a regulated financial services environment including annuities, life, and broker-dealer channels • Build Foundational Business and Analytical Skills • Develop skills in data management, reporting, process discipline, and operational execution • Gain an understanding of how accurate data and reporting support marketing performance and business decision-making
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Interest in financial services and marketing operations is a plus
